Happy Halloween

Cindy 1This mysteriously masked young woman is Cindy. A couple of years ago Cindy was awarded a Farther Foundation scholarship to travel to Italy where she lived with a host family for six weeks while learning the language and culture. She was in high school then, but now is a student at the University of Illinois.

That is what we do at Farther Foundation, give rare opportunities to students from families and neighborhoods burdened by socio-economic disadvantage. We believe that if a bright student like Cindy gets a chance to spend a few weeks living and learning in a new environment far from home, her confidence and aspirations will be awakened in a way that will change the trajectory of her life.

Farther Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and all of our scholarships are made possible by tax deductible donations from people like you. Almost all the money we raise is donated here in the last 2-3 months of the year. We would love for you to be a part of our mission by making a donation today. You can go to our website at www.fartherfoundation.org to learn more about our mission and our students and to make a donation online via credit or debit card, or PayPal.

Thanks for following us and supporting our work and our students.
