Honoring our new board member with a Fundraising Challenge

Alumnus Joins the BoardAngelicca

Farther Foundation is pleased to announce that Angelicca Telles has joined its board of directors.

Angelicca was a recipient of a Farther Foundation grant as a high school student in 2010 when she traveled to Thailand with American Field Service. Angelicca attended high school at St. Ignatius College Prep, and this May graduated from Pomona College in Southern California.

“Joining Farther Foundation’s board is an amazing honor and opportunity. I have had the privilege to witness the growth of students throughout their high school experience. Their participation in enrichment programs on college campuses or abroad are without a doubt pivotal moments for them. I am excited to contribute to this effort through Farther Foundation and to let more people know about its amazing work.”

President’s Challenge Match

Adding Angelicca to the Board of Directors is a milestone in the maturation of our students and our organization. In honor of Angelicca joining the board, our Board President has issued a special fundraising challenge to our supporters for the month of June.

Farther Foundation’s Board President has committed to match all donations to Farther Foundation made on or before June 30, 2015 up to a total of $2,500.
